(There's nothing particularly important there so don't worry about it too much). Yes all of that stuff will help. As for people "skipping turns or attacking each other", it depends on what they're affected by. Garkel in Lepers Smile, underground in the hidden passage behind the big rock to the left of your entrance... is unkillable. I hit that stupid undead with 40+ dmg and his healthpool isn't even dented. I knock him down hoping for massive damage or an instant kill coup de grace but nothing seem to work. That will make you sleep and remove the condition. If you die again, while at deaths door, you will need a Raise dead scroll and those are 6k each. The damage is normal. But if you are not a pathfinder veteran, I suggest lowering the difficulty a lot.
